For over 21 years, Founder and CEO Joseph N. Allotey has served in correctional operations, compliance, investigations, accreditation, and leadership. Throughout his career, he witnessed the evolving challenges facing correctional agencies, from managing complex regulatory requirements to maintaining safe, secure, and accountable environments for staff, inmates, residents, and communities.
These experiences provided a unique perspective on what agencies truly need: not just auditors and consultants, but trusted partners who understand the daily realities of correctional operations from the inside.

Bridging Compliance and Operational Reality-

The inspiration for JN Allotey Consulting grew stronger during Mr. Allotey’s participation as a support auditor and in the U.S. Department of Justice PREA Auditor Training Program from 2022 through 2024.
During this journey, Mr. Allotey gained a deeper appreciation for the critical role independent auditing plays in strengthening institutional accountability and advancing PREA goals. It became clear that agencies needed more than simple compliance assessments, they required practical guidance to transform regulatory rules into meaningful organizational improvements.

He has developed and implemented comprehensive compliance frameworks, designed specialized investigative training curricula, and served as an adjunct instructor for sexual abuse investigations in confinement settings.
